Format: 5 Round Swiss System, G/90 d5 (Rounds 1-2 G/75 d5)
Registration: Saturday 9-10:30
Rounds: Saturday 11-2-5, Sunday 10-3:15
Entry Fee: $50 by 9/18, $60 at site. GM/IM/WGM free, $60 deducted from prize.
Prizes: $500 guaranteed. $$b/20: $200-150-125, U1900 $100, U1600 $75, U1300 $50. Upset Prize $40. Unrated may not win over $100. Director reserves the right to adjust prize sections.

Hotel Info: A block of rooms is available at the Best Western in Bridgeport. Rate $79 plus 13% tax. Call 304-842-5411 by 9/3 and ask to make a reservation with the block Harrison County Chess Club to get the special rate.

One irrevocable half-point bye allowed in rounds 1-4, must commit before round 2.

WVCA membership is required for in-state residents competing in the State Championship. Membership must be obtained before or at the start of the event. The State Championship title will not be awarded to anyone who did not obtain membership before or at the start of the event.

WVCA Annual Business meeting will be held at 10 am, Saturday.
