Site: Harrison County Senior Center, 500 W Main St, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
Format: 5 Round Swiss System, G/90 d5 (Rds 1-2 G/75 d5)
Registration: Saturday 9:30-10:45
Rounds: Sat 11-2-5. Sun 10-3:15.
Entry Fee: $50 received by 9/13, $60 at site. GM/IM/WGM free, $60 deducted from prize.
Entries: Online registration at chessregister.com. Mail entries to Harrison County Chess Club, PO Box 4338, Clarksburg, WV 26302.
Prizes: $500 guaranteed, $$ b/20: $200-150-125, U1900 $100, U1600 $75, U1300 $50. Upset prize $40. Unrated may not win over $100.
Byes: One irrevocable half-point bye allowed in any round, must commit before round 2.
Other: WVCA membership is required for in-state residents competing in the State Championship. Membership must be obtained before or at the start of the event. The State Championship title will not be awarded to anyone who did not obtain membership before or at the start of the event. WVCA Annual Business Meeting will be held Saturday at 10am.
